Legendary 70s folk-rock pioneers LINDISFARNE, a classic six-piece line up of long-time members fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar. With a repertoire of unforgettable songs like Meet Me On The Corner, Fog On The Tyne, Lady Eleanor and Run For Home and a reputation for live performance second to none, LINDISFARNE’s power to galvanise festival and concert audiences remains undimmed and is guaranteed to get the crowd on its feet and singing along.

The Lake Poets, aka Martin Longstaff, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Sunderland joins us for the fourth year in a row. Inspired by artists such as Elvis Perkins, Carole King, Villagers, Feist, Van Morrison, Fionn Regan, John Martyn, Wilco, Damien Rice, Bright Eyes, and Neil Young, Martin’s output as The Lake Poets is as haunting as it is beautiful. Described as ‘Quietly Devastating’, ‘Accomplished and Intelligent and 'Spellbinding and Heart-breaking, Martin’s music regularly silences audiences and turns heads. Lead single 'Your Face’ has received over 4 million Spotify plays as well steady daytime airplay on BBC Radio 2, Radio X, and BBC 6 Music.

Music at Marley Hill is sponsored by the Stables Brewery, Beamish Hall and is in association with the nationwide celebration Museums at Night. From 7.00pm on Saturday 20th May be entertained by the amazing LINDISFARNE and special guests as they take centre stage for one night only at the World’s Oldest Railway, situated within Marley Hill Carriage Shed, surrounded by vintage railway rolling stock - a truly unique venue!
