Capture Photographs of Tanfield’s Locomotives With the Unique Setting of the Historic Marley Hill Engine Shed!

Join us for our Photographic Evening at Marley Hill engine shed from 4.30pm – 9.30pm where our steam locomotives will be busy being prepared and fired up in readiness for running the following day. They’ll be posed around the yard and inside the shed, with our crews on hand so you can capture those atmospheric evening photographs! Light refreshments will be available.

Meeting Point

  • Car parking is available at Andrews House station (NE16 5ET), free of charge. Your experience will start from Marley Hill welcome building – just across the bridge from the car park. Here you will be met by one of our Tanfield greeters.
