Celebrate Industrial Railway Heritage at its Finest!
Join us this June for the Legends of Industry Gala, one of the premier industrial railway events in the calendar. Taking place on the 19th, 20th & 21st June 2026, this spectacular event will feature guest star ‘Dora’ from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, alongside our 6 home fleet steam locomotives!

Meet Dora…
For those who want to know a bit more about our special guest, ‘Dora’ was built in 1927 by the Avonside Engine Company for the British Electricity Authority at Barton, near Manchester. Carrying works number 1973, the locomotive was delivered new as the site’s “No. 2” engine, undertaking industrial duties throughout its working life. Now privately owned by Neil McArthur, ‘Dora’ has undergone an extensive restoration in recent years and now lives at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
